此曲在火腿騎士音樂劇 ( Monty Python's Spamalot ) 當中也有出現過

「火腿騎士」（Spamalot）是根據諧鬧片「聖杯傳奇」（Monty Python and Holy Grail）改編而成的舞台劇，故事內容講述的正是著名的亞瑟王與圓桌武士，及其探尋聖杯的故事。

本劇在百老匯一年一度的頒獎盛會大放異彩，除了贏得2006年48屆葛萊美獎「最佳音樂劇」的肯定，先前也獲得2005年東尼獎的「最佳音樂劇」大獎的殊榮，顯示他們在舞台劇的前程不可限量。總共獲得東尼獎14項提名，名導演麥克尼柯斯也因而獲得音樂劇最佳導演獎，女星莎拉萊米雷絲則獲得音樂劇女演員最佳演出獎。

由經典劇《洛基恐怖秀》（Rocky Horror Picture Show）主角、百老匯紅星提姆科瑞（Tim Curry）擔綱演出亞瑟王一角，演出《歡樂一家親》(Frasier) 聞名並多次獲艾美獎提名的的大衛海德皮爾斯(David Hyde Pierce)演出羅賓爵士，加上為《辛普森家庭》(The Simpsons)卡通擔任多角配音、拿下第55屆艾美獎最佳配音獎的漢克阿薩瑞亞(Hank Azaria)所演出忠心耿耿的圓桌武士蘭瑟洛一角「火腿騎士」推出後獲得空前賣座，於2005年3月17日在紐約演出以來成績輝煌。參與新一季演出的還有有許多知名紅星，如丹佐華盛頓和凱薩琳透納都參加演出，目前已創下七億六千八百萬美元的票房紀錄。

全劇音樂由電影《笨賊一籮筐》及1983年坎城影展審查員特別獎-電影《脫線一籮筐》的配樂大師約翰杜裴茲(John Du Prez)及艾瑞克埃朵(Eric Idle)合作擔綱，順利擊敗眾家強手，勇奪第48屆葛萊美獎最佳音樂劇大獎。

火腿騎士獲得2005年59屆「安東尼裴瑞紀念獎」( Anthony Perry Awards ，東尼獎，Tony Awards ) 「最佳音樂劇」和「音樂劇最佳導演」，「音樂劇類最佳女配角」，入圍「最佳編曲」，「最佳編舞」，「最佳詞曲創作」，「音樂劇類最佳美術設計」，「音樂劇類最佳服裝設計」，「音樂劇類最佳燈光設計」，「音樂劇類最佳男主角」，「音樂劇類最佳男配角」，Eric Idle ()也因為火腿騎士( Monty Python's Spamalot )入圍了「音樂劇最佳劇本」。

Eric Idle ( 艾瑞克埃朵，艾瑞克埃鐸 ) 是 Monty Python ( 中譯：蒙蒂蟒蛇，蒙地蟒蛇，蒙提．派松 ) 的其中一員，曾替《OST - The Wild 》( 中譯：野蠻任務 ) 和 John Du Prez 合唱了一首散發著非洲生命力的世界音樂/流行搖滾大作＜Real Nice Day＞，也曾擔任《史瑞克三世》魔法師梅林的配音

蒙地蟒蛇，是由一個叫做蒙地蟒蛇的飛行馬戲團( Monty Python's Flying Circus )簡稱而來，是英國著名的喜劇表演團體，於1970年代起在英國BBC電視台製作了一連串的短篇喜劇影集，風格辛辣、葷腥不忌，跟美國的「週末夜現場」(Saturday Night Live)相互輝映。他們也有推出許多電影版本，包括有《聖杯傳奇》(Monty Python and the Holy Grail, 1975)、《萬世魔星》(Life of Brian, 1979)和《脫線一籮筐》(Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, 1983)等等，都是不可多得的奇片。

蟒蛇集團共有六名成員，分別是由葛理翰查普曼，約翰克里斯，曾接任007系列中的Q，還有泰瑞吉連(Terry Gilliam)，其實他是美國人，被延攬到該團擔任導演、編劇和動畫製作、艾瑞克艾多、泰瑞瓊斯與麥可帕林等。他們六人不僅撰寫劇本、設想情節與拍攝短劇，並大量運用泰瑞吉連製作的動畫，使得他們的影片呈現一種與突破現實與想像，嘲諷現狀、顛覆價值的意識流表現手法。蒙地蟒蛇最大的創造性就在於擯除當時電視喜劇建立的既定規則，並將劇本取材範圍不斷擴張，對往後的英國喜劇影響深遠。
